In a nod to Server Technology’s continued dedication to innovating new technology in the data center space, STI recently was awarded the prestigious Wagon Wheel Award from the Northern Nevada Development Authority. The award recognizes the “Best New Technology, Product or Patent” from a northern Nevada company each year.

Server Technology was recognized for its patents at the April 7 awards banquet at the Carson Nugget ballroom in Carson City, Nev. In 2015 alone, Server Technology was granted patents for work with data center power configuration, power management, data center monitoring, and equipment monitoring technologies, among others. The patents range from Power Distribution Unit (PDU) cooling systems to polyphase PDUs and the company’s signature Sentry Power Manager software for data centers. Server Technology also won the Comstock Award for Innovator of the Year.

According to the NNDA, The Pioneer Awards “are the Sierra Region’s opportunity to celebrate and recognize the successes and accomplishments of the many outstanding companies and individuals that contribute to our regional economy and sustainable future.”

Server Technology holds the most patents in data center technology and has even more pending. Server Technology has experienced double digit growth over the last three years.
