PRO2 Switched Online Demo
In the Demo, the outlets from the Primary unit are numbers Primary_Outlet_1 for Outlet 1, Primary_Outlet_2 for Outlet 2 and so on. For the Expansion unit 1, Outlet 1 is labeled Link1_Outlet_1. Outlet 2 is Link1_Outlet_2, etc. Subsequent expansion units are numbered similarly, e.g. Expansion 2, Outlet 5 is Link2_Outlet_5.
Telnet Demo
Because the Telnet applications differ between operating systems, these instructions are designed to cover the basic operations required to make this demo operate properly. General recommendations for all Telnet applications include having the Terminal Preferences set to VT-100/ANSI emulation and VT 100 Arrows.

- To turn an outlet off, type off and the Outlet ID. Example: off Link1_Outlet_1.
Key Features of the PRO2 Switched Rack PDU:
- Easy to use and access, secure, integral HTML Web GUI over HTTP/S, plus LDAP/S and TACACS+ external authentication and authorization support
- Secure remote power management; reboot individual or grouped outlets (SSL, SSH, Telnet, SNMP, RS-232)
- Outlets may be linked to one or multiple groups without loss of control of that individual outlet
- Native power-up sequencing prevents in-rush current overload during initial start-up or after power loss. Unlike other products on the market, sequencing occurs during initial startup, after power loss and after user-initiated power cycling to prevent overload
- Network card power redundancy: When a PRO2 Expansion unit is connected to the Link1 port, the network connection is maintained if the Primary loses power.
- PIPS input current monitor(s) on easy-to-read local LED, via network or serial connection
- Optional temperature and humidity probes with 10-ft cords to allow sensors to be located in different locations
- SNMP traps provide automated alerts for power and environmental conditions. Additionally, event notification is available via Syslog and email
- Expandability: add additional outlets under one IP address through link unit
- Local and remote notification if a branch circuit is down (FE will display on LED and through the web-based interface, SNMP and email alerts)
- PRO2 products have a separate LED for each branch to simplify load balancing
