Traditionally, a specific set of PDUs would be purchased to best match the existing power requirements. However, when input power changes occur, newer PDU models typically need to be swapped in to accommodate them.

This solution utilizes a Server Technology Rack PDU equipped with a Universal Input (UPDU). This flexible option supports both single-phase and three-phase Legrand Universal Input cord configurations, making it suitable for a wide range of configurations with a single rack PDU. This one-size-fits-all universal infeed option accommodates both single-phase and three-phase Legrand Universal Input cord options for the same rack PDU.
