Non-Warranty Repair Policy

Server Technology, Inc. (STI) extends a two-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. In the event that a Server Technology product experiences a malfunction beyond the 24 month warranty period, Server Technology, at its discretion, will determine if the product is a candidate for a Non-Warranty Repair.

In the event that a Non-Warranty repair is approved, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be issued. Issuance of this RMA is contingent upon the diagnoses of an STI Support Technician. Any product repairs outside of the standard two-year warranty period must be returned to Server Technology for the repairs to be conducted.

The following costs will be associated with a Non-Warranty repair. Customer is responsible for all related costs.

• Shipping / Freight charges for returning the product to Server Technology, Inc., and shipping / freight charge to ship the repaired product back to customer.
• Two hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($200.00) for the cost of repairs

The shipping methods will default as follows for all orders unless otherwise specified by the customer:

A purchase order (PO) must be received for the cost of the repair and return shipping before the product is sent in by the customer. This PO should include the $200.00 repair fee plus quoted freight to return the repaired unit(s). Typical repair turnaround is Ten (10) business days from the receipt of the product at STI.

Should the unit be deemed non-repairable, the unit will be scrapped on site, or returned to the customer at their request. If the unit is not repairable, the PO will not be charged.

Should the repair costs exceed $200.00, an additional quote will be provided to the customer. If the customer still wishes to have the PDU repaired, a revised PO will be required.

STI can support this program for products up to five years from the original shipment date. For products beyond 5 years of age the RMA request will be denied.
