Support Options

Server Technology Power Service Program

Server Technology (STI) offers comprehensive support that starts the day you purchase your SentryTM products. All products are shipped with a standard 2-year limited parts & labor warranty.
Standard Sentry Warranty:

  • Standard Warranty (2 years from shipment date).
  • 5x8 Phone and Email Support during standard support hours.
  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) required for all returns. Issuance of RMA contingent upon problem diagnostic with STI Support Technician. Product serial number required.
  • All products must be returned to STI prior to repair or replacement.
  • Typical repair or replacement turnaround is 10 business days from receipt of product.
  • Shipping:
    • Customer is responsible for returning product to STI.

Exception: Server Technology will provide a 2-day return shipping label if an RMA for a defective or failed product is issued within 30 days of the original invoice date (the date the product first departed an STI warehouse).

    • STI ships repaired or replacement product to customer.

Two expanded warranty levels (Sentry Gold and Sentry Platinum) are available to ensure support, device repair or replacement, and shipping terms that fit your needs for periods extending beyond two years. Sentry Gold and Sentry Platinum warranties provide the following:
Sentry Gold Warranty:

  • Gold Warranty (total 3 and 5 year packages available).
  • 5x8 Phone and Email Support during standard support hours.
  • Notification of product upgrades and enhancements.
  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) required for all returns. Issuance of RMA contingent upon problem diagnostic with STI Support Technician. Product serial number required.
  • All products must be returned to STI prior to repair or replacement.
  • 2 business day maximum turnaround of repair or replacement product upon receipt of RMA product.
  • Shipping:
    • Customer is responsible for returning product to STI.

Sentry Platinum Warranty:

  • Platinum Warranty (total 3 and 5 year packages available).
  • 7x24 Priority Phone and Email Support.
  • Notification of product upgrades and enhancements.
  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) required. Product serial number required.
  • Advance cross-ship replacement product leaves STI warehouse within 2 business days.
  • Shipping:
    • STI ships advance cross-ship replacement product to customer via 2-day or faster service.
    • STI provides a return shipping label for return of RMA product to STI.
