Support Options

Server Technology Power Service Program

Server Technology (STI) offers comprehensive support that starts the day you purchase your SentryTM products. All products are shipped with a standard 2-year limited parts & labor warranty.

Standard Sentry Warranty:

  • Standard Warranty (2 years from shipment date).

  • Phone support from a Server Technology trained Technician.

  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) required for all returns. Issuance of RMA contingent upon problem diagnostic with the end user of the product and Server Technology Support Technician. Product serial number required.

  • Cross shipment of a new unit if product is DOA (within 30 days of product leaving Server Technology’s warehouse). Server Technology provides return shipping label.

  • All products must be returned to Server Technology prior to repair or replacement.

  • Repair or replacement turnaround in 10 business days from receipt of product at Server Technology.

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping to Server Technology. Server Technology ships repaired or replacement product to customer.

An expanded Advanced Replacement Warranty is available to ensure support, device repair or replacement for periods extending beyond two years.

Advanced Replacement Warranty North America:

  • Advanced Replacement Warranty 3 years from shipment date.

  • Priority phone support from a Server Technology trained Technician.

  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) required for all returns. Issuance of RMA contingent upon problem diagnosis with the end user of the product and Server Technology Support Technician. Product serial number required.

  • Advanced replacement unit will ship from Server Technology within 2 business days.

  • Server Technology will ship advanced replacement product via 2-day service. Server Technology provides a return shipping label for return of RMA product to Server Technology.

Advanced Replacement Renewal North America:

  • Renewal of Advanced Replacement Warranty is available in 1 year increments following the 3 year initial term and can be renewed for up to a total of 5 years.

Advanced Replacement Warranty for outside of North America:

  • Advanced Replacement Warranty 3 years from shipment date.

  • Priority phone support from a Server Technology trained Technician.

  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) required for all returns. Issuance of RMA contingent upon problem diagnosis with the end user of the product and Server Technology Support Technician. Product serial number required.

  • Advanced replacement unit will ship from Server Technology within 2 business days.

  • Server Technology will ship advanced replacement product via priority service. Server Technology provides a return shipping label for return of RMA product to Server Technology.

Advanced Replacement Renewal outside of North America:

  • Renewal of Advanced Replacement Warranty is available in 1 year increments following the 3 year initial term and can be renewed for up to a total of 5 years.

Limitations:

  • Basic units are not eligible.

  • Waiting period of 30 days applies if advanced replacement warranty is not bought at time of purchase.

  • Cables and accessories are excluded.

  • If product has been marked end of life, it will be replaced with a comparable product.
