This new PDU is designed, engineered, and manufactured to deliver quality power for years to come. Getting the Manual

PDU products are intuitive to install. To obtain a complete user manual for ongoing operations, visit our technical library, then choose Product Manuals, and then find your PDU series/model number in the list of PDF manuals. The manual will give you the information you need to install or configure your new PDU as well as serve as a great reference for future operational needs.

Physical Installation and Mounting

The PDU is intended to be mounted in any suitable location, typically within your data center rack or cabinet. A wide range of mounting options is available, which may be found in our Mounting Bracket Guide.

Network Enabled PDU

All network-attached PDUs include Plug-n-Play operation when deployed into an existing power system environment. All network-attached PDUs include a robust web interface that allows configuration settings to be applied. The factory default web access information for your network-attached PDU is:

For PRO4X models:
Name: admin (Five lowercase characters, including the letter "i")
Password: legrand (Seven lowercase characters)
Accessibility: PDU boots with the DHCP option and uses the APIPA link-local address, which can be accessed from https://pdu.local using a DHCP-configured laptop connected to the PDU's Ethernet port.

For PRO3X models:
Name: admn (Four lowercase characters, without the letter "i")
Password: admn (Same four lowercase characters as above)
Accessibility: PDU boots with the DHCP option and uses the APIPA link-local address, which can be accessed from https://pdu.local using a DHCP-configured laptop connected to the PDU's Ethernet port.

For PRO1 and PRO2 models:
Name: admn (Four lowercase characters, without the letter "i")
Password: admn (Same four lowercase characters as above)
Default IP Address: 192.168.1.254
Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Note: You can also configure PDUs using a command-line interface via the Serial RS232-port through an ANSI terminal program (e.g. HyperTerminal) and these settings: 9600 baud, no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit. DHCP is also supported and our products ship with DHCP enabled.
