Data Center Monitoring and Measurement at the Tip of Your Fingers

"10 minutes after you start it up, you’re a pro. It’s so intuitive, easy to navigate and it gives you the information you need and can use. I’m on the phone with customers or at customer locations every day. Customers are thrilled to see the new interface. It's head & shoulders above other CDU vendors’ firmware, and a big jump from our previous firmware version, too. Believe me, I’ve worked in this business for a long time and the combination of our CDUs and this new interface to manage them is terrific." - Don Jones, Senior Field Technician, Server Technology

Right from the start you know it’s going to be easy. With our new user-friendly interface and the unique Systems Summary dashboard, you’ll instantly know how much infeed power you’re using and the status of the power distribution unit. With our graphical slider bar alert system, you’ll see immediately if the CDU is working normally, or you have a problem. The green-red-yellow (or yellow-green-blue if humidity) visual indicator gives you your status at a glance.

You’ll get a topline view of:

  • Each line status: the CDU, the expansion unit and the temperature and humidity probes on that IP address. Each CDU has a unique ID.
  • Uptime: How long that system has been up and running
  • Load – An instantaneous view of your power consumption in watts
  • Alerts – If your pre-set thresholds have been exceeded, you’ll know, and you’ll also know what the problem is.
  • Temperature & Humidity: Displays where you are within a 0-100 range
  • Current: RMS current delivered in Amps
  • Active users logged in and their access level

Individual Outlet Control
For switched CDUs, you’ll see the outlet name, status and control statue and the ability to control individual, group or global outlets for on, off and reboot. You can also configure outlets with a two second delay in between actions.

Power Monitoring
The power monitoring functionality allows you to see your input feeds and your power consumption, displayed as status, power, voltage and load. You’ll also get information on the system for:
-Total power (watts)
-Total area (how much wattage per square foot)

Smart UPS function
Through the power monitoring function, you can also integrate your smart UPS with the CDU, giving you the status and voltage of your UPS.

Environmental Monitoring
Monitor your temperature and relative humidity and know when you have conditions that exceed your thresholds.

Smart Load Shedding
If temperature or load current exceed defined thresholds or the UPS loses power and go onto battery all or a portion of the load can be automatically shed to ensure longer operational life of your critical devices. If one or more servers are being shed a controlled shut down can be accomplished via a remote shutdown agent. Along with automatic shedding an “auto-recovery” function ensures that all devices are brought back to a defined state when conditions return to normal.
