Production ATE Enginner

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Designs and troubleshoots analog and digital circuits, as well as electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Works with senior engineering staff designing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to be used in a production environment; requiring involvement from conception to implementation. Duties include designing, scripting, procuring, assembling and global implementation of Automated Test Equipment.
  • Maintains and supports all Automated Test Equipment currently deployed at all manufacturing facilities.
  • Maintains the delivery schedule, status, and deployment for ATE equipment and fixtures to support New Product Introduction.
  • Travels to worldwide contract manufacturer locations to deploy and support automated testing as needed.
  • Generates capital requisitions as necessary to support test equipment and projects.
  • Organizes and controls all ATE equipment documentation.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and/or experience:

  • Proficient with wiring diagrams, schematics, and electro-mechanical assemblies for both repair and design.
  • Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a fast, dynamic environment.
  • Use of lab equipment, including digital oscilloscopes, precision meters, and power supplies is required to perform duties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, proficient with MS Office, AutoCAD, and Schematic Capture experience
  • (5) years work related experience or (5) years combined formal electronics training with related work experience.
  • Experience in mechanical fabrication and electro-mechanical assembly a plus.

Embedded Systems Programmer

Job Description:  Selected candidate will be a key team member involved in the design, implementation, and maintenance of firmware for network interface cards in intelligent power distribution systems.  Implementation is in C with an RTOS on an embedded ARM processor.  Initial focus will be a web-interface implementation, including the back-end connections to the embedded OS.  Strong GUI design, HTML, Javascript, CGI, and secure web authentication skills required.  Additional tasks will include high-level network protocol implementations, per RFCs.  Some network protocol programming experience required.  Candidate must be detail oriented, capable of originating and implementing firmware designs, and working in a self-directed team environment.

Job Type:  Full-Time

Education:  BS CS/CE or higher.

Experience:  3+ years preferred.
