Sales Engineer

Essential Functions:
1.  Provide training and producing support material for inside and outside sales team
2. Provide product training for sales team and channel partner representatives
3. Design custom-made mounting solutions
4. Liaise with internal departments (sales, quality, engineering) to address customer issues/needs
5. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to customers (enterprise and reseller)
6. Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
7. Provide after-sales support
8. Traveling to visit new/existing customers
9. Prepare/present technical presentations and demonstrations
10.  Able to convey customer requirements to Product Manager teams

Required Abilities: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with customers and all STI functional departments, including executive management.  Strong knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Calendar, Power Point, etc…) Must be self-motivated. The candidate will work in a team environment with all Sales personnel to coordinate efforts. Strong written and verbal communications. Intermediate to advanced skill level with CAD and Visio applications

Minimum Experience: Undergraduate degree or 3-5 years of work experience

Planner


Essential Functions:
1.  Review sales order material requirements to determine fulfilment plan
2.  Create and Schedule work orders
3.  Review material availability prior to releasing scheduled work orders
4.  Interface with Purchasing to resolve shortages prior to release of work orders
5.  Notify the Master Scheduler when available resources do not support the Production Plan
6.  Maintain production schedule utilizing Vantage tools
7.  Interface with Sales to provide accurate S/O ship dates 
8.  Work Order Change Control – revise work orders per Design changes
9.  Review work orders and firm planned orders (MPS/MRP) for accuracy / completeness
10.  Create production request as needed
11.  Maintain forecasts
12.  Produce and maintain various reports
13.  Actively participate in ongoing company cost reduction effort

Special Skills/Abilities: Use of Microsoft Office applications, Epicor / Vantage. Ability to understand engineering documents and work closely with members of the engineering team. CPIM Preferred.

Minimum Experience: 2 years experience or equivalent work history in production and materials planning.

Customer Support Coordinator

1. Provide first level technical customer support for customers via phone and email.
2. Facilitate data quality issue tracking, escalations and reporting.
3. Properly update the support log which identifies customer reported problems.
4. Coordinate receiving, processing, and tracking of data from internal and external sources.
5. Maintain communications with customers during the problem resolution process.
6. Perform follow ups on aging RMAs to facilitate timely closure.
7. Manage department TS voice mail messages, TS inbox and meeting agendas with coordination of phone coverage and follow up responses.
8. Run daily, monthly reports & as needed reports then review, consolidate and recommend efficiencies as needed.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

Minimum Experience: 2 years’ experience in technical administration or customer service. Experience with Microsoft products. SalesForce and Vantage experience a plus. Ability to work in a team environment and possess strong customer service and organizational mindset.

Inside Sales Representative - Hong Kong

This position will report to Inside Sales

Some of the responsibilities will include:
1. Work with Regional Sales Director to negotiate, win, and service contracts for STI orders of products and services for use in customer facilities.
2. Daily performance of duties necessary to facilitate the business operation and fulfill customer requests.
3. Make independent decisions to send evaluation equipment when information provided by customer is insufficient for a sound determination of what STI products and solutions are necessary.  
4. Obtain technical and factual information from customers about their needs and evaluate that information in light of available STI products and solutions to determine which products and solutions best fit customer needs. 5. Collect information about the customer’s spending capabilities and desires with respect to possible products or solutions to be purchased from STI. Analyze various possible recommendations to arrive at the best one, in light of the customers' needs and financial resources.
6. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in making STI product/solution recommendations to customers which differ from the customer’s originally desired product or solution.
7. Exercise discretion and independent judgment on a daily basis when dealing with high level account administration, customer and resellers requests.  Such discretion and independent judgment includes but is not limited to ability to directly negotiate contracts with customers on terms that are not pre-defined and offer discretionary discounts to customers as deemed appropriate by the Representative, without oversight or approval by a supervisor.
8. Apply a high level of decision making when facilitating direct sales to large customers and/or resellers.
9. Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners/customers in APAC.
10. Manage and process incoming orders, and to respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, ship dates, inventory availability and expedite requests, etc.
11. Participate actively with all members of the sales, marketing, operations and product support team in a helpful and positive manner.  Make recommendations for changes to established STI policies and procedures to improve business operations and customer service.
12. Responsible for fulfilling overall sales goals for the company.
13. Support the sales efforts of the Regional Sales Managers by providing discretionary estimates based on the Representative’s evaluation of the information provided and the customer’s needs, enter such information into Sales Force.
14. Use good judgment when assist customers with post sales activities such as return merchandise requests, missed shipment inquires and billing inquires. 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
1. Must learn/possess complex STI technical product knowledge in order to provide exemplary customer service to the Regional Sales Director as well as internal/external customers.
2. Must possess ability to make sound judgments about how to serve customer needs with available STI products and must be able to exercise independent judgment regarding contract negotiation and awarding discounts.
3. Excellent customer support skills, responsive, helpful, present a positive STI presence to customer.
4. Ability to master Sales Force CRM, product quotation skills.
5. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of different sales methodologies and will be able to learn the methods employed by STI and apply them to their respective RSM selling activities.
6. The candidate will work in a team environment with all members of the of the sales, marketing, operations and product support team.

Regional Sales Manager

This position will be responsible for the Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri and Kansas territory

Some of the responsibilities will include:
1. Manage existing Enterprise customers
2. Support existing channel partners sales efforts
3. Identify and develop new channel sales partners
4. Develop new Enterprise customers through prospecting activities
5. Represent STI at regional trade shows and other marketing functions
6. Solidify STI's presence in the local marketplace through consistent participation in networking organizations and events
7. The candidate will work in a team environment with Inside Sales to coordinate efforts and support for enterprise customer and reseller channels

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
1. Bachelor's Degree
2. 3+ years selling products and/or services in a Datacenter environment, or in supporting reseller channels doing the same
3. Proven track record of achieving sales objectives in a team environment
4. A combination of Account Management and Account Development skills are required with a proven track record of success
5. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of different sales methodologies and will be able to learn the methods employed by STI and apply them to their selling activities. This approach will rely heavily on the candidate's ability to identify specific customer needs
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with customers and all STI functional departments, including executive management
7. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Calendar, Power Point, etc...)

Senior Electrical Engineer


Some of the duties will include:
1. PCB Design with voltage/current analog sensors in addition to microprocessor controlled digital circuits
2. Power distribution and switching design (AC/DC 400V, 100A)
3. Mixed signal design Analog/Digital
4. Design for Test/Design for Manufacturing
5. Working on multiple projects with fluctuating deadlines and priorities

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or MSEE
2. 5+ years in similar industry experience required
3. Project Management experience
4. Microcontroller design experience
5. Electrical safety as well as EMI/EMC experience
6. Signal Integrity experience
7. High density product packaging design experience a plus
