In the coming weeks, we will be rolling out updates to our very successful vertically mounted, 24-outlet Smart product line. Product release dates will be announced shortly and are based on availability. These updates are listed below.

NEW Fuse Retractor!

These CDUs will include our tool-less fuse retractors that makes fuse replacement an effortless process. The fuse holder simply rotates the standard SC-20 Cooper Bussmann fuses in and out of line for easy access.

Firmware Update to 6.0

These Smart models will be available with our 6.0 firmware. These changes include: an updated web interface look and feel to match our Switched product line, UPS voltage and status polling, wattage and watts per area calculations, and 3-phase power out-of-balance check.

NEW! Linking two units under one IP address

New to the Smart product line is support for the ability to link a Master unit (models with a CS prefix) to an expansion unit (CL models) allowing two CDUs to share one IP address.

Color and Silk Screen

The color of the units will change from ivory to black. The silkscreened text labels will also be positioned so that they may be easily read if the units were mounted with the power cord coming out of the top or bottom of the cabinet..

The addition of the fuse retractors to the product affects the overall length and depth of the unit as indicated in the list on the following page. A cross reference from the old to the new models is also provided below
