Server Technology’s New Milestone Patents
Recently Issued and Issuing Patents Validate Server Technology’s Leadership and Innovation in the Cabinet Power Distribution Unit (CPDU) Marketplace
(Reno, NV), January 22, 2007 – Server Technology, the industry leader for Power Distribution Unit and Management Solutions, announced today that it has recently received three milestone U.S. Patents and will receive another such patent next week. These patents are in addition to other U.S. Patents that have previously issued to Server Technology as well as other pending before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and foreign patent offices.
These issued and issuing patents protect the company’s significant advancements within the PDU market place and reflect on the unique products that Server Technology’s customers have come to expect from this rapidly growing provider of Data Center Equipment Cabinet solutions.
About the Patents
The three U.S. patents that have issued to Server Technology recently are for power distribution units that have differing features, such as:
- current-related information displays: U.S. Patent No. 7,403,543 issued May 9, 2006;
- sensing on/off power outlet state and current flowing through at least one outlet: US Patent No. 7,099,934 issued August 29, 2006; and
- providing on/off power outlet control and power state or load sensing: U.S. Patent No. 7,162,521 issued January 9, 2007.
The U.S. patent issuing to Sever Technology next week is U.S. Patent No. 7,171,461, which is generally directed to networked power distribution units having information displays.
