Server Technology Inc. becomes Green Grid Member

Server Technology is committed to advancing energy efficiency in data centers and providing the best data center technology solutions.

(Reno, NV), November, 2007 –   Server Technology Inc., announces its membership in The Green Grid, a consortium of information technology companies and professionals seeking to lower the overall consumption of power in data centers around the globe. The Green Grid is an organization that is dedicated to the development of significant platform-neutral standards, measurement methods, processes and new technologies that will be used to improve the energy-efficiency of data centers across the globe.

Membership in The Green Grid is open to those companies and information technology professionals interested in supporting the movement to improve data center power consumption and improve overall efficiency. Members of The Green Grid realize that energy efficiency in data centers is one of the most significant issues facing technology providers and their customers today due to the exponential increases in power and cooling costs over the past few years, as well as customer demands for high density computing outpacing power availability in many regions of the world.

“Research and product development along with working closely with other vendors is driving our efforts to improve power distribution solutions within the data center equipment cabinet” said Brandon Ewing, Server Technology, CEO. “Many of The Green Grids goals align closely with ours and we are excited to be a member.”
